You Are Qualified By Gods Anointing

Updated: Jan 25, 2023

How many of us needed this reminder this morning? You may not feel qualified now, but God can use you in numerous ways.

1 John 2:27 As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit - just as it has taught you, remain in him.

How often do we think "oh I'm not qualified for that job" or "I'm not smart enough" or "pretty enough", "talented enough"? The list goes on and on right? Friends can I tell you that no matter how you see yourself that is definitely NOT how God sees you.

You ARE qualified.

1 John 2:20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.

Remember God has AMAZING plans for your life, you need to get into agreement with what God is showing you. If he is putting you in situations where you do not feel qualified, just know you are about to be stretched and increased. Start saying "Thank you God for blessing me and taking me in this new direction." Get excited about it and start viewing yourself through Gods lenses and not your own.

Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.

Friends we have such a limited view of ourselves, we tend to focus on all of our flaws instead of seeing the greatness God has put on the inside of us.

Expand your vision beyond your own thoughts & insecurities!

Never forget you ARE beautiful in Gods eyes (it doesn't matter how others see you), you ARE gifted and talented (look for ways to develop and improve them), you CAN make a difference (start blessing those around you).

Psalm 139:14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
