Who Needs An Alignment?
Updated: Jan 25, 2023
How many of you get tire alignments on your cars? Everyone does right? Okay maybe not, but they tell us we're supposed to. If we are lucky our husbands will do this for us. But if not, we know how important it is to realign our tires from time to time. By doing so it improves the handling of our vehicles and prevents them from pulling in one direction or another. Tire alignments also help the tires perform better which in turn makes them last longer too.
Proverbs 16:3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.
How many of us need our thoughts or attitudes realigned?
I don't know about you but I know when I am not in alignment with Gods word. It's important for us to create space for quiet time to reflect on what God puts on our hearts.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
As I've mentioned before road trips are my time with God, it's when I am able to get myself in alignment with what God wants me to do.
When we do not make this a priority than we allow things around us to pull us away from God just as the tires will begin to pull one direction or another when we fail to get a tire alignment. When we are realigned with God it helps us perform better as well.
If you find that you are needing a life realignment, I would encourage you to take some time to sit quietly and ask God what his will is for you.
I highly recommend reading the entire chapter of Proverbs 16.
