When God Calls You...

Do you hear God's voice calling you? Where is he leading you?
From time to time I feel a strong pull from God to be alone, as if he's telling me it's time to retreat to a solitary place to replenish my soul. This time I was led to northern Michigan. I haven't been here since we moved to California and I can tell you it's bittersweet being here.
Luke 5:16 But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.
I have been blessed with great weather and even though it's extremely cold I am grateful to have sunshine and clear roads while traveling. I definitely feel God's guiding hand on this journey...which is just another confirmation that I am supposed to spend time appreciating his beauty & praising him for everything he continuously does for me.

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
This song is fitting for me, once I arrived in Mackinaw it felt as if I needed to say "Here I am to worship God." Hope you enjoy the song as much as I do!
Wherever God leads you I hope you will heed his call. Don't allow satan to use excuses to keep you from experiencing God's restoration. Even Jesus needed to retreat and spend time alone with God. Follow his example and keep God front & center in your life!
Trust me, it will do wonders for your mind, body & spirit. You will begin to feel that indescribable peace!!
