When Faith Is Strengthened

Updated: Jan 25, 2023

When I spend time connecting with God on this lake my soul is refreshed. I encourage you to get out in nature and spend some quality time with God today!

Lake Almanor, Northern Califorina

When our faith is strengthened it gives us the boost of energy we need to keep pushing through our challenges. How many of you can attest to this?

Faith is renewed and strengthened every time we turn to God, speaking from personal experience as that is how God always operates in my life. When I seek his counsel and wisdom he reminds me that I can trust him even in the uncertain times and by doing so my faith is strengthened. I no longer need to control situations instead I surrender them to Him and trust that he will provide exactly what I need to overcome them.

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Can you think of a time when you gained clarity and peace from seeking God's wisdom?

This is a great quote! How true that is....we should never shrink from opportunities where our faith may be tried, wow amen!

Isaiah 40:31

but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Friends if you find yourself walking through a valley, I encourage you to lean on God. I was reminded yet again that walking in the valley is an inevitable part of life, but when we surrender the journey and outcome to God our faith will be strengthened.

John 14:1-3

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

So, our reminder today is to trust God during the trials and give testimony to his faithfulness in taking care of us!

Psalm 18:1-3

I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies.
