What Is Your Spiritual New Years Resolution?

Most people are trying to decide what their new year resolutions are going to be, but I would challenge you to think about your SPIRITUAL resolutions. Do you have any? A spiritual resolution would be one that aligns with God's plan for your life.

My spiritual resolution is to retreat more often which in turn means to spend more time alone with God.

Proverbs 16:3

Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.

It's going to be a challenging year starting a business of being a Christian Life Coach. I know the only way it will be successful is if I spend time listening & following God's plan and not my own, which means it will be a year of trusting His timing of it all.

If you are thinking about starting something new this year I encourage you to take time to ask God what He would have you do, determine what God's plan is and what direction he wants you to go. If you are unsure of where to begin my prayer is that you will find the courage to step out in faith and that you will be successful.

Let your excitement for a fresh start overcome your fear and stay committed to it.

As I was researching Bible verses these spoke volumes to me and I hope they speak to you as well, I pray they will remind you that all of your hard work will be honored by God.

Colossians 3:23-24

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. it is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Psalm 37:5-6

Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.

2 Timothy 2:15

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
