What Distractions Hold You Back From Receiving God's Best?

Why do we allow the devil's distractions to keep us from living life to the fullest? What is it about these lies that make us give up on our dreams so quickly? Why do we fail to keep the right perspective when we face adversities?

2 Timothy 1:7

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.

God has given us dreams that are within our reach, it doesn't mean it will be easy but they are certainly within our reach! Too often we give in to the lies we tell ourselves, we are reminded of our insecurities, we dwell on our failures instead of seeing them as learning tools.

Hebrews 10:35-36

So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

We need to get excited about our God given purposes and dreams, surround yourself with those who will encourage you to pursue them! Use every ounce of energy you have to overcome any obstacle that gets in your way and just when you think you don't have any more fight left in you, know that God can and will renew your spirit & strength!

1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 Pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

When you find yourself facing another obstacle or distraction I encourage you to instantly remind yourself of exactly what it is, a distraction. It's just trying to throw you off your game, don't allow these challenges to derail you, stay focused and remember the devil is working over time right now. His plan is to keep you from pursuing your dreams because he knows that God has an amazing future in store for you! He will tell you that you are not qualified the for the new job or that you are not strong enough to overcome the obstacles in your life, but this is the not voice you should be listening to.

When you become discouraged, remember God's words in Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

What dream would you pursue if you had unlimited time and money?

I challenge you to pursue it as if you already have the time and money to make it a reality. When we begin shifting our thought process we allow God to work in our lives, you have to step out in faith before you will see anything happen.

Every day you should visualize your dreams & passions as if they are a reality. Spend time thinking about what your life will be like when do accomplish them and think about how God brought it all together!

John 15:7

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

Friends, never forget who God is!

He is all knowing, all powerful, the Alpha and the Omega!! God can still do the impossible despite what your life looks like right now. God is not limited by your circumstances, or your finances never forget this!!

Galatians 6:9

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
