Time Waits For No One
Updated: Jan 25, 2023
Do you ever feel as if you do not have enough time to do all the things you enjoy? Are you nodding your head? Well if so, you are not alone!
I don't know about you, but it seems the older I get the faster the time goes...
I believe our sons death taught me a valuable lesson about time. Simply put....it's precious and limited (on earth anyway). Time is a gift and when we use that gift wisely we gain precious memories of time well spent as we begin living our lives without regrets!
Ephesians 5:15-16
Be very careful, then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
If you do not have enough time in your day I would encourage you to take inventory of how you spend it. Make note of how many hours you spend on your phone, computer, watching TV and verify if you are using that time wisely.
By doing so, you may gain a new awareness of how much time is actually wasted on things that really do not matter that much to you. Remember we can change our habits at anytime, it's never too late to start making time for the things that are important to you.
Psalm 90:12
Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
We are fooling ourselves if we think time will not run out, so get busy living, start spending time with family and friends. During this pandemic I know this seems difficult to do so I would encourage you to Facetime, zoom, Skype with your family & friends because seeing their faces will lift your spirits!
Is there a project you've been wanting to start or perhaps finish? I encourage you to begin again.
Never forget it's worth and always remember that time waits for no one!
James 4:14
Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
