Time and Space
Updated: Jan 25, 2023
Who wouldn't love to have a little time and space to themselves? Sounds heavenly doesn't it? Just think about sitting somewhere quietly enjoying a delicious cup of coffee or tea, for me sitting on the beach with a good book sounds wonderful as well.
I'm curious which one of these questions do you relate to the most?
Do you need a break from your kids? Perhaps you need time and space to cool down after an argument. Are you in need of a vacation to reconnect with your spouse? Or how about a little time to reprioritize how you spend your time? Regardless of your reason, I hope you will make yourself a priority and allow yourself the time and space you need to rejuvenate your spirit!
Ephesians 5:15-16 Be very careful, then, how you live - not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
Do you wish your time on earth was limitless? Maybe, maybe not, especially after what has been happening in our country lately.
James 4:13-15 Now listen, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money." Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that."
When I think of time and space one thing that comes to mind is our universe, where time and space are limitless. I'm also reminded of how God's love for us is also limitless.
We need to make sure we are setting aside time and space to reflect on God's word and his unconditional love.
Life is short we need to carve out time for the things that are most important to us, because before you know it we will run out of time!
Psalm 90:12 Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
