The Spirit of God

Today I'd like to remind each of us how blessed we are to have the Spirit of God living within us! That alone should cause us to relax and breathe easier and allow us to regain a broader perspective of our daily challenges.

Job 33:4

The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

Mother's Day can be difficult for some as they may have not grown up with a great mom or a good roll model in their life. Friends if this speaks to you, can I just remind you that you do have the perfect roll model in your life that you can rely on any time you are facing challenges? It's the Spirit of God! He is always there for you with a listening ear, willing to help you.

He isn't judging your mistakes, he loves you unconditionally and the best part is when we surrender our lives to Him he renews our spirit and strength every day!

Will you allow God be your Father and roll model?

Romans 8:11

And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.

Friends, I hope you feel the Spirit of God within you, if not I would challenge you to determine why. I would encourage you to spend some time alone with him, share every area of your life with him because he will show up for you in amazing ways! Even when our parents fall short, God will be there!

Romans 15:13

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
