The Silent Warrior
Updated: Jan 25, 2023
We all know those silent warriors in our lives, you may even be one of them! This message is to remind you though you are feeling physically drained, exhausted & perhaps spiritually depleted you still have fight left in you, the devil cannot defeat you, your consolation is coming!
Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
So many of us are fighting battles that others are not aware of. We are fighting illnesses, addictions, insecurities, some may even be living in fear.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
I love this quote as it reminds me of our military families who are fighting for us. Do you have a loved one serving our country? Can I say THANK YOU to you and your family for serving our country, to me this is the ultimate sacrifice. I pray God continues to give each of you strength to handle all that you face on a daily basis.
Who are the warriors in your life?
Can I encourage you to reach out to them, tell them how proud you are of them for not giving up, always remember to encourage one another! We may never know the impact you have on their life, let's look for ways to make a positive influence on those around us.
Ephesians 6:10-18
vs 10-12 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his might power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
When we pause and reflect on how far we have come it can help to renew our strength for today. Just remember you only need to focus on the moment in front of you, take it one step at a time!
Remember God is right there with you saying "you've got this, YOU are a warrior, there is nothing you cannot overcome STAY STRONG!"
