Put On Your Armor Of God
Updated: Jan 25, 2023
Good Morning to you! I just wanted to remind you to put on your armor of God this morning!
How often does your busy schedule prevent you from doing this? If you're like me some days you are running out the door only to return late at night so it's critical that we begin our day in God's word and make it a priority to put on the full armor of God before we leave home! The devil is working overtime and hoping you'll be too busy to make God a priority in your life, don't allow him to get a foothold in your morning routine.
When we begin to recognize the devil's schemes we will realize when he is trying to distract us and prevent us from following through. He has certainly been doing that with my blogs so I apologize that I've allowed him to distract me with everything else going on.
Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist,, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
I don't know about you, but I love this last quote!
When everything comes at you today remember the blessings that are heading your way! Make sure to visualize the gifts you are about to receive so you don't lose your perspective! Get ready and brace for those arrows...
Have a great day!!
