Our Word For The Day Is Surrender!
Updated: Jan 26, 2023
What a great word for these trying times isn't it? Have you surrendered your health, finances, relationships, family, career, your future to God? If not, what are you waiting for?
When we place our faith & trust in God we can live our lives with conviction knowing he will provide for us, regardless of how things look naturally. Unfortunately, many of us live fearfully, we fail to trust Gods timing. We don't see anything happening so we take matters into our own hands. We try to control the outcome in our situations because we dwell on the worst case scenarios the devil has planted in our minds. Can you relate to this insecure feeling?
Psalms 50:15 and call upon me in the day of trouble;
I will deliver you, and you will honor me.
When we give up total control & surrender fully to Gods plan, we allow Him to move our lives in directions we could have never predicted. But for some, thinking about this unforeseeable future causes stress because we are limited by our human thinking. We're not able to see how our situation can improve or how anything good can come from it. I assure you it can! I've seen it numerous times in my own life.
When I have doubted & finally surrendered the outcome of my situation to God, that is when I have received God winks. God has shown me signs that He is working behind the scenes on my behalf. It's as if He is saying "Jill trust me, have patience, I've got this."
There is a purpose for everything that happens, Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 we have to learn to accept our paths and the lessons we will gain from each experience. Sometimes relationships will endure challenging times, we begin to question if they will survive. But when we're anchored in Gods Word we soon realize our relationships are made stronger from these trials. Learn to embrace & trust your journey!
Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Your challenge today is to take a deep breath let go of that restless feeling you have & trust God wholeheartedly. He is in complete control.
He is saying to you:
"Trust me, I've got this, have patience and surrender..."
Mark 11:24
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
