No One Is Exempt

This statement is true for so many different situations, those who are single are not exempt from receiving love, keep believing God will bring the right person into your life! Believers and unbelievers alike are not exempt from illness, loss and pain we can all attest to that, but we are also not exempt from healing & restoration! I love what Jeremiah 17:14 says "Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise." Those who struggle with temptations or addictions should know you are not exempt from receiving forgiveness when you repent & change your ways. Romans 10:9

Even Jesus was not exempt from pain and temptations. Luke 4:1-13 As we come into holy week I think about everything he endured to save us, can you even fathom? I'm curious if you have watched The Passion of the Christ movie? If not, I would recommend doing so! You will have a deeper appreciation & understanding of all he endured on our behalf.

Regardless of all the hardships you've faced, just know Jesus can relate to your pain and he is there to help you through it. Hebrews 2:18 Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

Do you have someone who has endured the storms of life with you? I hope you will thank them. Today I thank God for his daily guidance and I thank Curt for being my anchor & stabilizer throughout our marriage, you bring laughter & joy into my life even in the midst of these challenging times I am so grateful!

When you are facing a storm find the anchors in your life and lean on them, allow them to help you through the hardships you are facing!

James 1:2-4

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trails of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
