Motherhood!

How many moms do you know who juggle multiple things at once? Their careers, running kids to sports practices, dance classes, trying to maintain the house, laundry, meals etc. sounds exhausting doesn't it? Moms are pretty amazing when you think about it, you may even have a dad who is equally amazing!!

Exodus 20:12 Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

We tend to be hard on ourselves when we fall short of being the mom we want to be, but can I encourage you to hang in there! No matter what age your child is you will face challenging times together, but it doesn't mean you can't still enjoy your journey with them. Time is precious enjoy it!

What is your favorite memory of your mom?

Some of my favorite memories are all the vacations we've taken together. When I was younger I looked forward to Monday nights when mom would pick us up and take us to McDonalds for dinner because dad was golfing and I was able to order a caramel sundae! It's funny the memories you remember isn't it? I enjoy listening to our boys talk about their McDonalds runs with her or the Cedar Point weekends & Mackinaw Island trips she took them on. She created a lot of great memories for all of us, I feel blessed to have her as my mom!

Kudos to all you mothers out there!! Our kids do not stay little for long so enjoy your time with them, it goes by like a blink of an eye!
