Finding Your Truth
Updated: Jan 25, 2023
Hmm......how many of us know our truth? Our real truth that is. You know the truth that says because you are a child of God you are loved unconditionally despite any mistakes you've made in the past.
James 1:2-4
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trails of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
In the new year I challenge you to determine what your truth is.
While discerning God's voice think about what he is putting on your heart because when you do God will reveal the next step you need to take. Too often we find ourselves worrying about other's judging us when we step out of our comfort zones, but we know that if our truth aligns with God and Scripture than that is all that matters.
Learn to disregard the nay-sayers.
From time to time God is going to ask us to step out in faith and to trust his plan. Can I tell you that I was hesitant to start this blog and yet I felt God telling me I needed to do it. Even though I felt uncertain about it I still followed what He put on my heart and I can tell you that my vision has expanded and now I am beginning to see how God's plan was much larger than I could have imagined and it's all because I dared to trust what God put on my heart even though I was unsure of it.
James 1:12
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
When you trust God and speak your truth he will transform your life!!
Proverbs 3:6
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
