God's Tapestry
Updated: Jan 25, 2023
Gods beautiful artwork surrounds us in everything we see and each day he paints a new picture in the sky with his breathtaking sunrises & tonight we saw it in the beautiful sunset that was peaking through the fog. But what is mind blowing to me is our universe, I think about the moon, stars, planets & all the galaxies, how blessed are we to have telescopes that allow us to witness this incredible beauty!
Have you ever really thought about how long it takes to create a tapestry & how each thread is woven together? Each one of us is a thread in God's tapestry, he is intricately weaving us together by using every race, color, ethnic background, think about the amazing picture he will create! We were each uniquely designed for a purpose and when the last day comes we will be woven together to complete his BIG picture! I don't know about you, but I am in awe of ALL he has created and to think his artwork even includes creating us, how amazing is that?
When you think of God's artwork what stands out in your mind?
Psalm 139:14-16
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
I hope this reminds you how amazing & valuable you are, just like a rare gem! God's tapestry will not be complete without each one of us and I pray we will learn to recognize and celebrate our uniqueness, especially our children!
Your challenge is to look for ways to lift other's up and when they are struggling to see their worth, remind them they are fearfully and wonderfully made!
Titus 2:14
Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order that they may provide for daily necessities and not live unproductive lives.
