God Heals From The Inside Out
Updated: Jan 25, 2023
When you fall and scrape your knee you are often left with a wound right? It may even bleed and the amazing thing about our bodies is that it will form a scab over the scrape like a bandage which helps protect it & stop the bleeding. I'm truly astounded by the way God designed our bodies to heal themselves. God also heals our emotional and spiritual wounds from the inside out as well.
Jeremiah 17:14 Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.
Do you feel as if God is healing you?
God has been revealing so much to me in the past several months, but even more so in the past few weeks with my Christian life coaching class, it's as if he is healing all the wounds of the past and helping me to release them.
Psalm 103:2-5
Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits - who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Surrender seems to be the theme of 2020 doesn't it? We have to surrender the temporary holding pattern we are all in right now and wait for a cure of this disease. We're distancing ourselves from family & friends, we're not being able to gather at parties or meet up for a bite to eat in restaurants. Surrender was also the theme of our women's church retreat this fall and it's also the word that speaks the loudest to me personally because I know God heals the wounds in our hearts and minds if we allow him the space to do so.
It's not going to be an easy process, but we will be rewarded with a new life when he's done. It reminds me of the caterpillars metamorphosis process in becoming a butterfly, they become beautiful creatures after they go through that process and we will be too!
Whether you find yourself in a season or not I encourage you to surrender the process and allow God to heal you from the inside out!
Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
