Finding Your Purpose
Updated: Jan 25, 2023
Some people just seem to know without a doubt what they were born to do, you see it a lot in musicians & artists. So often you hear of kids who play musical instruments or sing at a very young age, almost as if they came out of the womb playing & singing. Yet for others it doesn't seem to come as naturally, they have to work harder to become who they want to be.
How often have you heard the phrase "I am not sure what my purpose is"? Have you had this thought yourself at one point? If so, I recommend taking time to ask yourself thought provoking questions that will help you determine what you are passionate about. Here's just a few to get you started!
Figure out what you enjoy doing the most and determine why it brings you so much joy.
What is meaningful to you and why?
What motivates you and why?
What do you want to dedicate your life to?
Do you have a servant heart that wants to help others?
Do you enjoy volunteering?
What would you consider to be your God given talent?
Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Friends God has a purpose for each of our lives whether we realize it or not. Each one of us is gifted with God given talents, we need to ensure we are using those talents to bless others.
How are you using your God given talents to bless others?
I love what TD Jakes says "If you can't figure out your purpose, figure out your passion. For your passion will lead you right into your purpose!"

As I grew up very poor I am passionate about helping others that are less fortunate. My family immigrated to America when I was eight years old and LCMS made that possible
I have been blessed with a wonderful family and great friends and I believe that it is my calling to give back to LCMS
