You Are Equipped For Success!
Updated: Jan 25, 2023
Whether you believe this or not, God has equipped you for success! Yes, YOU! You have everything you need to become the person God created you to be, regardless of your current circumstances or your background. The first step to becoming successful is to believe it is possible, the next step is being disciplined in our daily walk with God, studying his Word and consistently working hard!
James 1:22-25 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it - he will be blessed in what he does.
Now I'm not talking about gaining financial wealth or material possessions, although that can certainly be apart of your success. I'm talking about daily achievements, whether they are large or small as well as our spiritual success which is how well we heed God's voice.
How would you define your own success?
2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Are you able to stay focused on our goals or do you have a tendency to dwell on your failures?
Every failure we experience should be viewed as nothing more than valuable lessons and opportunities to begin again, only more wisely.
Philippians 3:13
Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.
A friend of mine gave me this prayer book called "Germaine Copeland Prayers that avail much" it has 155 specific prayers & offers Bible verses to reference for each prayer as well. I'd recommend getting a copy! Praying for Gods wisdom is helpful in achieving our goals.
Remember you ARE equipped to be successful. Once we start seeing ourselves through God's eyes, we will begin to believe it!
