Don't Wait...

How often do you hear "life is short?" When we are young we are oblivious to how quickly time goes by and as we grow older we become acutely aware of just how limited our time really is on earth. Do you feel this way?

Ecclesiastes 11:6 Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let not your hands be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well.

We need to take advantage of the time God is giving us. Do not become so busy that you miss an opportunity to encourage one another and love on each other.

How many times have we allowed Gods whispers to go in one ear and out the other? We fail to follow through with what he puts on our hearts. Don't wait until tomorrow to call someone, let your family & friends know you are thinking of them today!

Here's a few ways to encourage one another:

• Send a prayer or encouraging text

• Send a "thinking of you" card

• Write a Bible verse on a note card and leave it on their car windshield without letting them know it was you

• Ask God to give you a Bible verse that will encourage a random stranger

• Go through your address book and look for someone you haven't spoken to in a while and reach out to them

When God speaks, our challenge is to listen and take action, don't wait!

Lamentations 3:25-26 The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
