Don't Take No For An Answer

Too often we become frustrated by all the no's we hear in life and we tend to give up too easily. Today I encourage you to trust God's timing, keep striving and be persistent.

I think of all the authors who have heard that no one would want to read their book, yet they continued to pursue getting their book published only to have it become a best seller. Too often our feelings get hurt and we have a difficult time moving beyond that. I hope you will pick yourself back up and keep pushing forward.

Galatians 6:9

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

I love how Jesus reminds us ask & seek in Luke 11:9-10 "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

It's like a jigsaw puzzle not all the pieces fall into place immediately you have to keep trying until you find the correct placement for it. We need to approach our lives in the same way, don't give up so easily.

When you hear the word "no" realize it's just directing you closer to your yes. Keep the faith, don't lose heart, keep pursuing your dreams and don't take no for an answer!

James 1:12 Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
