Do Not Forget...
Updated: Jan 25, 2023
How would you complete this sentence?
How often do we say these words to our kids & spouses? If you are a teacher I'm sure you have used these words daily with your students or I even think about times when I have gone to the grocery store and forgot the one thing I needed most, sound familiar? So frustrating right?
There are lots of things we forget to do, especially when we try to handle situations on our own and we forget to lean on God. At times we even forget his words of wisdom. Ephesians 4:32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Each morning we need to remember to put on the armor of God!
Deuteronomy 8 reminds us "Do not forget the Lord" vs 1 Be careful to follow every command I am giving you today, so that you may live and increase and may enter and possess the land that the Lord promised on oath to your forefathers.
I pray these Bible passages will remind each of us to put him front and center.
Deuteronomy 8:11 Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day.
