Do Miracles Exist?

How would you answer this question, have you witnessed a miracle? Large or small miracles do in fact exist, we witness them every day in the sunrises, in nature, even our children are miracles. Okay, now some of you may be wondering about that last one now that you are having to home school your kids during this shelter in place :) just teasing.....OF COURSE our children are miracles! We are blessed by their unique, fun personalities. I know I am truly grateful for my boys!
Do you remember the first miracle Jesus performed? John 2:1-11 tells about how Jesus was at a wedding and they ran out of wine and his mother asked the servants to do whatever Jesus asked of them. vs 7-10 Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water;" so they filled them to the brim. Then he told them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet." They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside and said, "Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now."
As some of you know I love photography and I could spend hours just sitting in nature and soaking up the beauty around me. There is something magical about sitting quietly in the midst of it all as you begin to witness the miracles unfolding in front of you. I would like to share a couple of miracles that I have witnessed and captured.
The angel flying across the sky!
Psalm 91:11-12 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
Gods presence peaking through!
Jeremiah 29:13
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Exodus 33:14
The Lord replied, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."
Smiley face, I love Gods sense of humor!
Psalm 126:2-3
Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, "The Lord has done great things for them."
Proverbs 15:13
A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.
Friends our challenge today is to notice the miracles around you! I encourage you to stop and take a moment to appreciate them because the more mindful you become the more miracles you'll witness!
