Building Trust Every Step of the Way

How many of you have heard of Sarah Young? She has written numerous books among them two of my favorites far are Jesus Calling and Jesus Today. If you have not read either of these books I encourage you to buy them today! Her words or should I say God's words speak volumes, I have thoroughly enjoyed them both & look forward to reading more of her work.
But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.

My glorious Light shines more brightly on those who follow this path of life. Dare to walk on the high road with Me, for it is the most direct route to Heaven. The low road is circuitous: twisting and turning in agonizing knots. There the air hangs heavy, and dark, ominous clouds predominate. Relying on your own understanding will weigh you down. Trust in Me absolutely, and I will make your ways straight.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Where do you find yourself needing to trust more?
I am learning that I need to step back and let go of circumstances and to trust God's timing. For me this has been the hardest lesson to remember.
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.
As Sarah reminds us: "Dare to walk on the high road with Me, for it is the most direct route to Heaven."
Friends God is challenging us every day to take the high road and to trust him completely. Will you give up control and allow him to direct your steps?
Allow Jesus to take the wheel.
