Blessings Are Hidden In The Valleys
Updated: Jan 25, 2023
Gods creation is perfect! When you think about the beauty that surrounds you think about the mountains for a moment and how majestic they are. From the top of the mountain your view is expansive, you can see endless beauty for miles & miles. And when you look down you can also see the beautiful valleys below with lakes & streams running through them.
Whether you are currently on the mountaintop in life enjoying all that God has blessed you with or you are walking through a valley dealing with difficult challenges. I encourage you to pause and reflect with gratitude. Not only gratitude for our eyesight that we are able to see such beauty, but gratitude that God is with you at this VERY moment.
Psalm 23:1-6 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Friends God is right beside you strengthening you in every step you take, I hope you can feel his presence with you. Visualize him walking or sitting next to you, this is something I do often and when I do I feel his presence with me, I hope you do too.
If you are currently walking through a valley I pray these words will lift your spirit and allow you to see you are not alone.
Our journey through the valley can be arduous and long at times, but remember every step you take is getting you closer to the other side. Don't give up, you are almost there!
My prayer is that God will guide you, strengthen you and protect you each and every day!
Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Friends our valleys are full of blessings we just need to learn to recognize them.
