Be hopeful

Today I want to remind of you what it means to be hopeful.


One definition says it is having qualities which inspire hope and another is feeling or inspiring optimism about a future event.


Romans 8:24-25

For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.


For me, being hopeful also means even though our circumstances say one thing, we know God says something completely different. Never forget that He is able to do the impossible, despite what the doctors or medical reports show. No matter what the devil tries to convince you of, God can help you overcome every obstacle you face, we just need to trust him!


Ephesians 3:20-21

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.



If you ever find yourself frustrated by the circumstances you are facing I encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith. Ask God to reveal what he is doing in your life and ask him for strength to get through it.


Even though God doesn't always reveal his plan immediately to us, quite often I am able to look back & see how his hand guided me through different situations and I can see how there was a purpose for it. Even when I didn't agree with where he was leading me.


Romans 5:1-5

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.


Friends wherever you find yourself in this moment I pray you will take hold of HOPE and learn to rely on it. No matter what you are facing God will strengthen you.


Romans 15:13

May the God of hope fill you will all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
