Am I Interruptible?
Updated: Jan 25, 2023
What comes to mind when you ask yourself this question?
How many of us find ourselves getting frustrated or irritated when people or circumstances interrupt our plans? Haven't we become a self-centered culture who doesn't want to be bothered by other people's issues? If we're honest we'd realize this is not who God created us to be.
God created us in His own image, that means we need to bear one another's burdens and love others as He loves us!
Genesis 1:27
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
Our challenge today is to become more like the Samaritan who stopped and helped the guy who was robbed and stripped of his clothes in Luke 10. I encourage you to read this story because it has valuable lessons in it.
Luke 10:25-37
Friends, when we stay open to God's will, He will use us in amazing ways, but we have to become interruptible (without grumbling).
Hebrews 12:11
No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
Never forget that you were given gifts to help others with. Use those gifts to the best of your ability.
Galatians 6:2
Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
Don't allow complacency to keep you from growing spiritually. Stay open to where God leads you and allow Him to interrupt your plans because believe it or not, His plan is far better than our own....
