My favorite National Parks!
Grand Canyon NP Arizona
Looking for a reflection destination? Grand Canyon is the destination to visit! Both the North Rim and the South Rim will give you unique views of the canyon, but if you're looking for a quiet location to reflect on life, I'd recommend the North Rim as it's more remote and has less crowds than the South Rim. I would highly recommend experiencing a breathtaking sunrise or sunset in the park!
Zion NP Arizona
Zion Natl Park is another favorite park of mine! Not only did I enjoy hiking the Narrows, but the Angels Landing hike was equally rewarding! I've been here in Nov & Jun I would recommend going later in the year as there are no crowds.

Must do:
*Hike the Narrows (preferably fall) as you'll have the river to yourself the farther you walk up the river. I was able to get great photos of the canyon walls without anyone in the photos.
*Hiking to Angel's Landing was exhilarating! Walking along the edge was one of the hardest hikes I've done and the views from the top were well worth the effort! I highly recommend taking a minimum 3-4 days to enjoy the park as it has so many unique trails to explore!
Acadia NP Maine
If you are drawn to the ocean like I am, than you need to add Acadia National Park to your bucket list. I recommend going during off season to avoid the crowds. If you're an adventurous person you'll need a minimum of 4 days. My family camped for 4 days & it wasn't enough time for me. I wish we could have stayed longer. I truly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere & beauty here. The activities are endless! Thankfully we had our own kayaks and bikes with us. Make sure you rent bikes & kayaks if you don't bring your own. If you enjoy photography this Nat'l Park has picturesque coastlines that you do not want to miss.

I can't wait to go back!
Must do:
*Sunrise on top of Cadillac Mountain, you do not want to miss an absolutely breathtaking sunrise! You'll see a panorama of Bar Harbor, Frenchman Bay & a cluster of islands.
*Kayak the different ponds if you think the ocean is too adventurous for you, we enjoyed kayaking Long Pond & Jordan Pond. In fact, we stopped at the Jordan Pond House & tried their famous popovers! Definitely worth the visit....
*Exploring the carriage roads on bikes was really enjoyable as well
*Walk along the sand bar from Bar Harbor to Bar Island, make sure you pay attention to the tide charts as the window is limited on how long you can spend on the island, you will get a great view looking back on Bar Harbor
*Explore Bar Harbor & enjoy the great restaurants & shops they have. If you love seafood this is the place to visit!
*Drive along Park Loop Rd & make sure you stop off to enjoy Thunder Hole, Otter Point & Otter Cliffs etc. very scenic drive
*If you're a lighthouse enthusiast, I'd recommend visiting Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse. Make sure you walk down the stairs to get the best view of the lighthouse along the coastline it's located in the southwest corner of Mt Desert Island
